FCA Promises Fixed UK Prices On Post-Brexit Deliveries – On One Condition

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is willing to guarantee prices across their entire range of cars ordered before and during the Brexit deadline. In fact, prices will remain fixed even for post-Brexit deliveries, although you do need to place your order before October 31.

This so-called ‘Deal or No Deal’ offer applies to all Fiat, Abarth, Alfa Romeo and Jeep models, “in spite of any currency fluctuations or import tariffs that could arise from the UK’s future trading relationship” with the European Union.

“We’re aware that questions around Brexit may cause concern for customers buying cars from European brands, but our ‘Deal or No Deal’ campaign will reassure our customers that the price of the car they order won’t change, even for post-Brexit deliveries,” said FCA UK exec, Arnaud Leclerc.

“FCA will support customers during the Brexit transition period by ensuring that no matter what happens in the coming weeks, we’ll keep our prices exactly where they are.”

The UK is planning on leaving the EU on October 31, despite being originally scheduled to do so back in March – that date was pushed back in an attempt to help Britain secure much-needed trade deals.

Automakers have already made their plans for a no-deal Brexit scenario. Honda announced the closing of its Swindon plant in 2021, BMW is moving some of its engine production abroad and PSA is looking to move production for the Opel/Vauxhall Astra to Southern Europe if the UK fails to secure favorable trade terms.
